Milan Menswear Shows – Part 6

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD

Anyone who is a frequent visitor to this blog will know by now that I love Vivienne Westwood, and this collection is no exception! It’s not just the clothes it’s the whole atmosphere Westwood puts into her shows. The runway was covered in cardboard boxes, the models were dressed like hobos, pushing trolleys and carrying sleeping bags. It just adds a little more fun to fashion, and I love it!

I Love this entire outfit but especially the jacket!

I also love this! Once again I love the jacket the most. I wasn’t so keen on the idea of man skirts, but they are slowly beginning to grow on me!

I have to admit I Love striped suits and this is no exception!

These waistcoats are definitely, the best of all the Milan shows this season, I just love the shape!

This jacket? Yes please! It may not be as impressive as some of the coats in the Burberry Prorsum show but I still love it!

This outfit is definitely my pick of the collection, I love everything about it!

Anyway here’s the whole collection, I need to get myself one of those “Get a Life T-Shirts”

Thank you Vivienne Westwood!

we were looking for something to blow up
we were looking for something to follow
we had one way out
we had some hours left
we were so close
we knew we were chosen
we aimed for high speed
and for someone who could catch me
and we laughed at the moonlight far beyond
and we ran through the moonlight far beyond

Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die

Here is the first example of one of my works, straight through from the design stage up until the final product.

The brief was to create something to do with our trip to London. So obviously I looked at London designers Like vivienne Westwood, and Katie Eary, and the Punk movement back in the early 70′s.

Enjoy

Vivienne Westwood to Design Jeans for Lee

The Queen of British fashion has Teamed up With Lee Jeans to create a line of mens and womens denim, which is to be revealed next fall.

“Styles such as superskinny jeans and microshorts for women, along with bondage jeans and skinny jeans for men. Washes will run from indigo denim to metallic gold- and copper-colored denim to denim printed with a trompe l’oeil lace design.”

I am soo excited about this, as they are going to be “affordable”. The prices will range between $130 (Approx. £80) to $320 (Approx. £200) Which isn’t really affordable but it’s still cheaper than buying any other pair of Vivienne Westwood Jeans.

I’d better start saving now because I just know I’m gonna want everything from this collection!

Number 1 -

These Katie Eary shoes! As modeled by the amazing Katie Eary herself! Price:£270

Number 2 -

This Katie Eary Jacket, In fact this entire outfit would be fine! – Price – Unknown, it’s part of her S/S 2010 and last time I checked it wasn’t available yet.

Number 3 -

A Mulberry Bag! This Barnaby bag would be awesome! Price £450

Number 4 -

A House of Holland T-Shirt, These are so old now but I still have yet to own one, which is surprising because they are not that expensive really, and they can be bought from the website. This Christopher Kane on is awesome, Either this one or the Agyness Deyn or Kate moss ones! Price  £34.26

And Number 5 -

This Vivienne Westwood coat, Price £995

So in a dream world I would have all of these things under my tree for Christmas.

Leona Lewis and Stella McCartney Collection

This should be interesting!

Leona Lewis (Seen above in another Vivienne Westwood dress, the lucky Bitch) with be teaming up with Stella McCartney to create a collection of animal friendly clothing, which suits them as they are both vegetarian.

I think it’s good that shes doing it with a designer rather than on her own, because when musicians try it it often turns out bad…Yes i’m talking about you Victoria Beckham!

On second thought Lindsay was working with a designer as well and that was still a disaster!

Selfridges Window Display London

So whilst in London I snapped some pictures of the displays at Selfridges, because I LOVE them! They are based on fairytales but with some awesome designer twists, such as the Snow White inspired Alexander McQueen display above!

They were taken on my iPhone 3GS so the quality isn’t brilliant…

Leona Lewis in Vivienne Westwood

LeonainViv

Leona Lewis is one lucky bitch!

Queen on British fashion (And all fashion IMO) Vivienne Westwood has designed a set of custom made outfits for Leona, which Leona will be wearing in all her Promotional shots for her next single!

I’m jealous :(
