People like to tell you what you’re gonna be
It’s not my problem if you don’t see what I see
And I do not give a damn if you don’t believe
My problem is my problem
That I never am happy
Is my problem, is my problem
That I never will succeed

Shakedown 1979, cool kids never have the time
On a live wire right up off the street
You and I should meet

Hugs and kisses from the girls and the boys
We get it automatic…
This jungle is massive
So please don’t be so passive
Be aggressive, impress us
And they will get the message
Yes, your father, he had it
For us it’s automatic
Yes, it’s magic, dance magic
Oh, it’s partie traumatic
Do it!
Oh, this planet is static
It’s not our demographic
We are steppin’ galactic
And just a bit satanic
Yes, your mother, she hacked it
For us it’s automatic
Yes, it’s magic, dance magic
Oh, it’s partie traumatic
Do it!
Hugs and kisses from the girls and the boys
We get it automatic
Live like champs, though we’re unemployed
We get it automatic
Stay the night and you can have some grits
We get it automatic
Sure, you’re right, this song is the tits
We get it automatic
So it’s time for one of those shitty personal blogs, which no one really cares about but I’m gonna do it anyway. This week has been manic, started writing my statement for my FMP, which i am really excited about!
I’ve been worried all week that I’ve upset a friend, but we’ve sorted things out. I went out last night, and got too drunk, and today I had to be up at 7 for an interview, which is bad as I came crawling home at about half 3 this morning. But it was worth it I had a really good time, even if I looked super rough during my interview…
Then today I had the news I’ve been dreading for weeks – a rejection letter from UCAS saying my application for CSM has been unsuccessful… I’m really devastated, and I have no idea what I want to do, London is where I belong. Though it’s probably my own fault for changing my mind 2 hours before I had to send it off, then re-doing it The university I visited today looked really nice and I would go there. But at the same time I guess I could try for internships, ask CSM what I did wrong, and apply again next year. Or I could go to a closer university, for my degree, then aim for a masters at CSM. I mean which ever university I go to will have the capabilities to improve my skills, There’s just so much more of an opportunity in London, and I don’t want to stay in the hell hole I live in now, where when i asked for fashion books in the local library they handed me a book about Ugly Betty…
So yeah I’m feeling sorry for myself

Handle bars, and then I let go, let go for anyone
Take me in, and throw out my heart and get a new one
Next thing we're touching
You look at me it's like you hit me with lightning
Ahhh

Oh, everybody's starry-eyed
And everybody goes
Oh, everybody's starry-eyed
And my body goes
Whoa oh oh ah ah
Whoa oh oh ah ah
Whoa oh oh

The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else’s lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin’ for?

Model - Myself
Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it’s better
Down where it’s wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin’
Full time to floatin’
Under the sea

Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain’t happy
They sad ’cause they in their bowl
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry
Guess who’s gon’ be on the plate

Under the sea
Under the sea
Nobody beat us
Fry us and eat us
In fricassee
We what the land folks loves to cook
Under the sea we off the hook
We got no troubles
Life is the bubbles
Under the sea
Under the sea
Since life is sweet here
We got the beat here
Naturally
Even the sturgeon an’ the ray
They get the urge ‘n’ start to play
We got the spirit
You got to hear it
Under the sea

Model - Sarah Gee
The newt play the flute
The carp play the harp
The plaice play the bass
And they soundin’ sharp
The bass play the brass
The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul
(Yeah)
The ray he can play
The lings on the strings
The trout rockin’ out
The blackfish she sings
The smelt and the sprat
They know where it’s at
An’ oh that blowfish blow

Model - Myself and Kristie Parry-Jones
Under the sea
Under the sea
When the sardine
Begin the beguine
It’s music to me
What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here
know how to jam here
Under the sea
Each little slug here
Cuttin’ a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail here
Know how to wail here
That’s why it’s hotter
Under the water
Ya we in luck here
Down in the muck here
Under the sea

So its a no-brainer that V would have two cover for this issue, one big and one skinny, the skinny cover is graced by Dakota Fanning, and the big features Gabourey Sidibe.
By now we should all know my views on this, and it is no different here, I prefer the Dakota cover. Also i think this a little too far. First of all before I get thousands of hate mail, I don’t hate fat people, but this is promoting an unhealthy lifestyle which there are many campaigns to stop! I don’t support unhealthy skinny girls as much as I don’t support unhealthy big girls. You can be healthy and skinny without being anorexic…

So the blog has been down again for the last few days because I’ve been in London again, but anyway I’m back but here’s what I got up to.
So first day I arrived we went to the UCAS fair, and I got to chat to people from the London College of Fashion and Central St.Martins and I have decided I definitely want to go to one of those Unis!
Then it was back to the Generator Hostel in Russel Square, which wasn’t as bad as I thought it was, The drinks were cheap there so I was up late getting drunk!
Anyway Next day (Slightly hungover) we went to see the Pop Art Exhbit in the Tate. Photography was banned otherwise I would have some awesome pictures to show you. But anyone who can should check out Pop Life at the Tate Modern if they get the chance.
Then on the tube to Old Street to see a Banksy and do some shopping!

So we found this Banksy piece on the wall, and I had a picture with it. I had to fight with that bloody bush though, who the fuck puts a bush in front of a Banksy!? And I know I look a mess, It was windy and I was soo tired!
Anyway there are some good vintage shops around the area so we went to check them out, the first we came accross and probably my fave was Paper Dress.

It was cute inside, it was like I was in the 1950’s even the lady behind the counter was dressed like she was from the 50’s and the best part was most definitely the Vintage cash register!

After theere we headed up to find Beyond Retro. Apparently its where the likes of Kate Moss, Beth Ditto and Noel Fielding like to shop. I remain un-impressed, there was a few nice things in there but everything smelt of old people, it just wasn’t for me, but if you are into second hand shopping it is definitely one of the best places to visit.

Then it was off to Oxford street and probably my favorite shop ever…Digitaria!

The other side of the window display is currently by Gemma Slack but the photos didn’t take properly. I went in again but had no money to buy anything I just love to look at the clothes in there, and oggle at the Katie Eary shoes I craaavvee!! Unfortunatly there is no Gallery downstairs at the moment.
Anyways further Down oxford street I finally got to check out the Jimmy Choo for H&M, I only Had time to look at the menswear though because I was the only one in the group interested in seeing it. But here’s some blurry pics I managed to snap including a picture of the boots I almost bought but they didn’t have them in my size
After that it was back to the Generator and another slightly drunk night, which is why there are no pictures from yesterday, because I was dying and ate dodgy Thai food. FYI if you’re ever around Tottenham Court Road and you see a place called Joi Buffet, DO NOT go inside, it tastes like vomit!
